Sex and intimacy therapy
Sex and intimacy therapy.
Psychosexual and intimacy therapy for individuals and couples. A safe,
compassionate, non-judgemental space.
What it is
An honest space to do the actual work.
Sex and intimacy concerns are among the most common, and the least talked about. Most people quietly carry something about desire, about their body, about their relationship that they have never had space to look at properly.
This work provides exactly that space. We talk about what’s actually happening, with a qualified, experienced therapist not someone who will flinch or rush you.
I work with individuals and with couples. With heterosexual and LGBTQ+ clients. With anyone whose intimate life is causing them pain or confusion they would like to be different.

How it works
What sessions actually look like
Method
We start with what's actually going on
Not what you think you’re supposed to bring. We map the real shape of the difficulty before we change anything.
Method
Plain language, not euphemisms
Sex therapy works better when we can talk clearly. I’ll use the words you use.
Method
Trauma-aware throughout
Many people carry sexual trauma, even those who would not name it that way. We move at your pace, always.
Method
Practical and reflective
We balance talking about what’s happening with practical, evidence-based suggestions you can actually use.
What you'll leave with
You'll leave the work with:
- A clearer understanding of what's actually driving the difficulty
- Practical strategies to use between sessions, not 'try mindfulness'
- Reduced shame around the parts of your sexuality that felt unsayable
- A sense of direction in your relationship and intimate life
- Validation that you're not broken, oversexed, undersexed, or making it up

Common questions
Frequently asked questions
Do we need to be in a relationship for sex therapy?
No sex therapy works very well for individuals too. Many people start solo and bring a partner in later, if at all.
Do I have to undress or be touched in sessions?
Never. Sex therapy is a talking therapy. There is no physical examination or touch.
What if I find it embarrassing to talk about?
Most people do at first. We take it slowly. You’ll find the language for what you want to say with time.
Will you judge me for what I'll share?
No this is non-judgemental work. Nothing you bring will be too much.
How many sessions will I need?
It varies. Some couples shift things in 6–10 sessions; others stay longer. We review regularly.
Do you work with LGBTQ+ clients?
Yes I work with clients of all sexualities and gender identities, including kink and non-monogamy.
Do you take referrals?
Yes GPs, gynaecologists and other therapists refer to me regularly. Get in touch for more detail.
